Thunderous. In your face. This ain’t no ordinary cover rock band. When AC/DC’s Phil Rudd needed a band to produce he signed Gayla Dawn and Leona. He described them as having, “Energy to the Bone”. Goldy Rox is known for it’s high-energy dance sounds and thunderous rock ‘n’ roll approach. Think female versions of Angus Young and Steven Tyler meets the dance floor.

The band consist of Gayla Dawn on vocals, Leona on lead guitar, Christine on rhythm guitar, Sketch on drums, Mark on keys, and Robert on bass. Backup singers are Christine and Mark.

After winning the World Battle of the Bands based out of Los Angeles Gayla and Leo were signed to Intergalactic Records their single “Shot of Gasoline” spawned a world tour. The girls have strong ties to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Las Vegas’s very own favorite race car driver Dustin Ash who’s car #11 was featured in their, ‘Shot of Gasoline” video which rotated regularly on MTV internationally. Dawn was recently awarded best female entertainer and vocalist by Rock City News Music based out of Los Angeles and Leona is the poster girl for the, “Gibson SG Goddess Guitar” and was recently featured in, “Guitar Player” magazine.

Goldy Rox cover songs including, AC/DC, Journey, Maroon 5, & Envogue. Goldy Rox never breaks between songs to tune guitars or make small talk with the audience. As soon as one song ends the band launches into another one.

They cut their teeth creating rock music, and playing it wearing seductive fashion. They have enough energy to rock a city block. They’re explosive; in fact their reputation included being told they we were ‘too loud” and “too sexy”.
