The KEN KIRBY BAND had just completed a rockin' night at the ninth annual Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival at the Colorado Belle Hotel and Casino in Laughlin, Nevada, when a very satisfied audience member came up to the band and said "that was the most electrifying, refreshing thing I've heard in a long time".we thought refreshing??? That's exactly what we wanted to hear.

Formed during a recording session in the summer of 2006, the bands concept has involved bringing a distinctive dimension to what's authentic and powerful about the music without losing the heart and conviction of where it all began. Blues as we know it is about tradition and personal expression and at its core, the blues has remained the same since its inception. Drawing from such artists as Joe Bonamassa, John Mayer, Ronnie Baker Brooks and Kenny Wayne Sheppard, The KEN KIRBY BAND takes all the elements that make up that tradition and combines them into what is known today as Modern Blues Rock, a genre that pays homage to those vintage styles while
simultaneously recasting them in a contemporary fashion.

The KEN KIRBY BAND has performed and/or headlined at resort casinos, major events, corporate functions, private parties and clubs throughout the Las Vegas and Laughlin Nevada area bringing their eclectic sound to generations both old and new. Each member brings their own unique and personal style to the band and the outcome is four seasoned musicians with years of experience under their belts.
